Stacie and Carrie with Paul Leim, Brent King, Mark Fain, Joel Key, Dirk Johnson, and Thomm Jutz in Nashville.

Stacie Ruth and Carrie Beth Stoelting travelled to Nashville to complete their first album, which will be released this fall. Ricky Skaggs met Stacie Ruth when she sang for the President.  His road manager, Mark Fain, orchestrated the project. The project’s musicians included Paul Leim, Dirk Johnson, Mark Fain, Thomm Jutz, Joel Key, and engineer Brent King.

Stacie Ruth recounts how it all began, “Ricky Skaggs and I waited in the Green Room before we sang for the President.  I felt truly blessed by his kindness.  We visited and prayed for about an hour and a half.  At the end, Ricky turned to his road manager and said, ‘Work with her.” Wow!  I’m so thankful for that, believe me!”

Buena Vista University’s adjunct professor of music, Glee Crippin, classically trained the 1st soprano sisters. Now, Grammy-winners have decided to work with them. They recorded inspirational Christian songs at Ronnie Milsap’s former studio (known as Ronnie’s Place).

Located in Music Row for the past thirty-nine years, Ronnie’s Place has been host to many recording artists including Ronnie Milsap, Randy Travis, Roy Orbison, Ricky Skaggs, and Marty Stuart. A historic music studio originally built by Roy Orbison in Nashville, Ronnie’s Place is now home to Ronnie Milsap's concert grand piano.

The Stoelting’s are national Christian speakers and singers and, as the founders of Bright Light Ministry, they appear on television and radio across the United States.
